Per-jet (or house of eternity!) an ancient Egyptian name for the pyramid. Which was (and still) a remarkable evidence of the genius of the ancient Egyptian civilization. It was not the end of the king's life. But it was just the beginning!. It doesn't make any sense when you are here in Egypt and you decide to do anything else but visiting the great pyramids.
